The new toll charges have started from <strong>July 1 <\/strong>and the new rates apply to multiple types of vehicles including<strong> cars, jeeps, vans and trucks. <\/strong>The reason for the toll revision is part of a review, this review is allowed in the agreements that govern how NICE Road and Electronic City Elevated Expressway are run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NICE Road is run by <strong>Nandi Infrastructure Corridor Enterprises (NICE) Ltd<\/strong> and the <strong>Electronic City Elevated Expressway<\/strong> is managed by<strong> Bengaluru Elevated Tollway Pvt. Ltd. Sometimes the toll prices are connected to things like the Wholesale Price Index (WPI) so the people in charge can deal with inflation and the costs of keeping everything running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The toll hike will also affect people who drive trucks and buses for a living, companies that move goods from one place to another and people who travel between cities will have to pay more to use these roads. This means that businesses that rely on these routes to move goods will have to pay a little more for transportation because of the toll rates.
