Coastal salt pan land here is being proposed for MEZ development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Villupuram<\/strong>: Villupuram, classified under SIPCOT&#8217;s Category C zone, typically offered enhanced state incentives to attract new industrial investment which is a factor that could make the MEZ more commercially attractive here. He noted that since a large share of India&#8217;s seafood exports to the <strong>US and EU<\/strong> are ready-to-cook products, the new facilities will help enhance value-added output.
