Policy Framework Favouring Kalaburagi<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Karnataka&#8217;s <strong>New Industrial Policy 2025-30<\/strong> pushes investment beyond Bengaluru with added incentives for backward regions, most of which cover Kalyana Karnataka, including Kalaburagi.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-3015076937\"><div translate=\"no\" class='mailmunch-forms-widget-1169732'><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>5% extra incentive<\/strong> for extremely backward regions and <strong>3%<\/strong> for backward regions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>KKRDB micro-grants<\/strong> funding a new <strong>Knowledge Park in Jewargi<\/strong> and drainage works across Aland, Afzalpur, Chittapur, Yadgir, and Jewargi<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A dedicated <strong>planning and data-analysis division<\/strong> to boost Kalyana Karnataka&#8217;s GSDP share<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-roads-and-water-infrastructure\" style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>4. Roads and Water Infrastructure<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wagdari-Ribbonpalli Road<\/strong> (135 km) being upgraded at a cost of <strong>\u20b9400 crore<\/strong> with KKRDB also funding it. A regional <strong>Kalyan Path project<\/strong> to develop 1,125 km roads at a cost of <strong>\u20b91,000 crore<\/strong> has so far had 238 crore utilised. L&amp;T\u2019s <strong>24&#215;7 water supply project<\/strong> now has a new deadline of June 2027 with risk of cancellation of contract due to any further delays.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-5-social-infrastructure-amp-tourism\" style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>5. Social Infrastructure &amp; Tourism<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition Kalaburagi has <strong>4 universities, 4 medical colleges<\/strong> and <strong>6 engineering colleges<\/strong>, besides a <strong>700 acre industrial land bank<\/strong> at Kapnoor and Nandur Kesaratagi which has cement, dal, cotton and stone-crushing factory units.
