Naidupeta is located near vital transport and trade facilities, which is important for a plant where movement of raw materials in and finished magnets out is crucial:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>About <strong>85 km from Chennai <\/strong>and roughly <strong>95 km from Chennai International Airport\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Around <strong>44 km from Tirupati <\/strong>(Renigunta) Airport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nearly<strong> 8 km from NH-16<\/strong>, part of the<strong> Golden Quadrilateral corridor<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Close to <strong>Ennore Port (around 60 km) <\/strong>and <strong>Naidupeta Railway Station<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The park already has an<strong> internal road network, power facilities, water supply, and industrial facilities<\/strong> available. It also lies within the <strong>Visakhapatnam-Chennai Industrial Corridor (VCIC).<\/strong> The central government along with the<strong> Asian Development Bank<\/strong> is investing in <strong>road, power, and industrial development<\/strong> in order to attract investments for the region. Here are some of the areas where it is relevant:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>EVs: <\/strong>NdFeB magnets are used in the high-efficiency motors in electric vehicles, and local sourcing has become crucial for India&#8217;s EV initiative.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Defense: <\/strong>These magnets are required in aerospace applications, precision-guided technology, and radars, thereby linking up with the self-reliance agenda in defense manufacturing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Renewable energy: <\/strong>The permanent magnets are required in wind turbines for the growth of India&#8217;s renewable energy capacity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The time frame is also lined up with the policy, since the Union Cabinet had already approved the implementation of a<strong> \u20b97,280 crore scheme <\/strong>for the development of domestic manufacturing capabilities for sintered <strong>rare earth permanent magnets,<\/strong> which was planned to result in the creation of about<strong> 6,000 TPA capacity from five units<\/strong>. The proposed investment by<strong> N.A.N.
