Hyderabad Pharma City, Mucherla, Rangareddy District<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>As the world\u2019s largest integrated pharmaceutical cluster, Pharma City has secured \u20b964,000 crore in investment potential with over 350 pharmaceutical and biotech companies now engaged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Phase I (2023-2026):<\/strong> Land has been assigned to 150 major companies, and among them are Dr. Reddy&#8217;s Laboratories, Aurobindo Pharma, Hetero Drugs, and Laurus Labs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Infrastructure:<\/strong> Facilities for water and electricity provision, common effluent treatment plants (CETP), and zero liquid discharge (ZLD) systems are in place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Employment:<\/strong> 1.5 lakh direct and 5 lakh indirect jobs are expected from this project<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Investment Logic:<\/strong> The cluster encompasses an entire pharmaceutical ecosystem of R&amp;D, manufacturing, and exports. The most important among them are:\u200b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Regional Ring Road (RRR): The highway encircling Hyderabad with a length of 340 km will cost a total of \u20b926,502 crore, and the year 2026 is set as the completion date for the project.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategic Road Development Plan (SRDP): The problem of traffic congestion will be resolved through investment of \u20b925,000 crore in creating flyovers, underpasses, and grade separators.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>India&#8217;s Longest Highway Tunnel: The four-lane highway from Jubilee Hills to Banjara Hills with a 10km tunnel is under construction by GHMC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-metro-rail-expansion\"><strong>2. Metro Rail Expansion\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"2\" class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Hyderabad Metro Phase II will cover an area of 67 km, with the addition of five new corridors. Why, because, the City center to airport connection via direct rail eliminates the need for road-based commuting, which is very important for business travel and logistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among those new corridors, the 31 km Airport Express Line connecting Raidurg to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport through the Outer Ring Road and Gachibowli would be the major one, which would cost \u20b917,000 crore.
