Only customers who actively use their debit cards will now qualify. This makes lounge access more controlled but also slightly harder to get.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This change applies only to HDFC debit cards. Airport lounge access offered through HDFC credit cards will continue to follow their existing rules and conditions.<\/p><div class=\"trade-in-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-147476327\"><script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\" id=\"AdsCoreLoader101144\" src=\"https:\/\/sads.adsboosters.xyz\/fbda060f29d5b8e8c653abce4ac69b7b.js\"><\/script>\r\n\u00a0<div class=\"ads-core-ads\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-no-more-card-swipes-at-the-lounge\"><strong>No More Card Swipes at the Lounge<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>From January 10, 2026, swiping your debit card at the lounge counter will no longer work, even if your card earlier offered free lounge access. Entry will now happen only through a digital voucher or QR code. If you don\u2019t have that voucher, you will need to pay the lounge fee yourself.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-2462575059\"><div translate=\"no\" class='mailmunch-forms-widget-1169732'><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-medium-font-size\" id=\"h-new-spend-rule-10-000-per-quarter\"><strong>New Spend Rule: \u20b910,000 Per Quarter<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want free lounge access, you need to spend at least \u20b910,000 in a calendar quarter using your HDFC debit card. For example, if you spend \u20b910,000 or more using your HDFC debit card between January and March, you will be able to access the free lounge benefit in the months of April to June.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is a big change because earlier the requirement was \u20b95,000 per quarter, based on genuine shopping spends made online or offline. Only purchase transactions are counted. Normal shopping, food orders, and online payments using the debit card are also included. HDFC will send you an SMS or email with a link. You just need to open the link and claim your lounge voucher. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After claiming the voucher, you will receive a 12 to 18 digit voucher code in your registered e-mail ID or mobile number. You just need to show this QR code at the time of entry at the lounge. That\u2019s it. It works from the date it is issued until the end of the next calendar quarter. For example, if your voucher is issued in February, it will usually remain valid till June end. It\u00a0 becomes useless if you forget to use it before expiry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As mentioned in the official website of the bank, the validity period is as follows as per the date on which the voucher was received. For Millennia, Times and GIGA, the maximum number of visits is 1, for business and Platinum it is 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Special Case: Infiniti Debit Card<\/strong> &#8211; If you hold an Infiniti Debit Card, you still get up to 4 free lounge visits per quarter without any minimum spend requirement.
