Nevertheless, the break-even point is projected by the wave of ambitious projects supported with the 12,000-15,000 crore investments and projected to break even by December 2025. It&#8217;s around 45 km long. The tender closes in January 2026. Construction starts at the end of 2025. Full operations probably in 2029 or the 2030s. Land acquisition is ongoing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The yellow line goes from RV Road to Bommasandra. Parts of it were opened in August 2025. The whole thing should be done late 2025 or early 2026.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pink and blue lines. They target openings in 2026 to 2027. Civil works are going on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These expansions will be additions to Phase 2 that will offer connections to the airport and suburban routes to cut the commuting time to shorten by 30-50 percent, namely in the densely populated areas like Silk Board.<\/p><div class=\"trade-in-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-2932741187\"><script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\" id=\"AdsCoreLoader101144\" src=\"https:\/\/sads.adsboosters.xyz\/fbda060f29d5b8e8c653abce4ac69b7b.js\"><\/script>\r\n\u00a0<div class=\"ads-core-ads\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-suburban-rail-bengaluru-suburban-rail-bsrp\"><strong>Suburban Rail Bengaluru Suburban Rail (BSRP)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The rail system covers 149 km and right now it&#8217;s only about 22 percent built.&nbsp;The construction is supposed to go on through the 2027-2028 phases.&nbsp;<\/p><div class=\"trade-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-292057923\"><div translate=\"no\" class='mailmunch-forms-widget-1169732'><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>For corridor one from Yelahanka to Devanahalli, the project should wrap up by December 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The other part of corridor one, Bengaluru City to Yelahanka, might not finish until December 2027 or even March 2028.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Then there are corridors two through four. Those are expected to be done by 2027-2028 too, and the electrification and signalling work is moving along now. It seems like things were stuck for a while.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>BSRP handles longer trips that connect to the metro, and it&#8217;s partly funded by the central government. Recently they sped up those tenders for electrifying the whole network after years where nothing much happened. That part stands out, how it was stagnant before. This is a 12,000-15,000 crore plan that aims at eliminating well-known bottlenecks that could reduce the peak-hour delays by half.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tunnels (e.g., Hebbal-Silk Board): Construction tenders pending; 2027+ targets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double-deckers (JP Nagar-Hebbal\/Outer Ring Road): incomplete July 2024; complete by 2026-2027 at a cost of Rs 120 crore\/km.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>16 raised corridors: Blueprint announced; staged implementation beginning 2026.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-road-and-civic-upgrades\"><strong>Road and Civic Upgrades<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Rs 2,141 crore approval by Karnataka finances 100 important roads, B-SMILE of roads and white-topping 500km of roads, flyovers and drains. White-topping smoothes arteries that have a high probability of potholes, and Greater Bengaluru Authority simplifies the implementation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-future-outlook\"><strong>Future Outlook<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2027-2030, assume radical mobility, commutes will fall below 30 minutes in major corridors, pollution is expected to decrease with mass transit migration and economic benefits such as 15-20% GDP boost through smooth logistics.
