The corridor will be elevated and underground, and will eventually include <strong>18 stations.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first phase, which will be operational from around <strong>August 15<\/strong>, will include the elevated section between <strong>Kalena Agrahara and Tavarekere <\/strong>and will have six stations in the high traffic corridor of Bannerghatta Road. The operational metro network in Bengaluru currently covers about 103.6 km, with the addition of the Pink Line, the <strong>city&#8217;s infrastructure will once again become<\/strong> <strong>the second largest metro network in India,<\/strong> beating Mumbai, which has a metro network of around 101.43 km in operation.<\/p><div class=\"trade-in-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-3019823167\"><script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\" id=\"AdsCoreLoader101144\" src=\"https:\/\/sads.adsboosters.xyz\/fbda060f29d5b8e8c653abce4ac69b7b.js\"><\/script>\r\n\u00a0<div class=\"ads-core-ads\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Metro is expected to run on schedule, providing a quicker and more reliable transport option for commuters. The first stretch of the Pink Line is likely to be <strong>7.5-km elevated from Kalena Agrahara to Tavarekere<\/strong>. The six planned stations to be operational are <strong>Kalena Agrahara, Hulimavu, IIMB, JP Nagar 4th Phase, Jayadeva and Tavarekere.<\/strong><\/p><div class=\"trade-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-1222617595\"><div translate=\"no\" class='mailmunch-forms-widget-1169732'><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-it-and-employment-hubs-expected-to-benefit-the-most\"><strong>IT and Employment Hubs Expected to Benefit the Most<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Bannerghatta Road IT corridor <\/strong>is likely to be the largest beneficiary of the Pink Line as stations like <strong>Hulimavu, IIMB and Jayadeva<\/strong> are directly connected to the area.
