People are moving to these areas and the roads are getting very crowded which is resulting in heavy traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-why-it-matters-for-commutators\" style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>Why it matters for commutators<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The new project will help reduce traffic at the crossings that are already there along the highway. People who travel between <strong>Punawale, Tathawade, Wakad, Ravet <\/strong>and <strong>Kiwale <\/strong>will have easier daily travel. The underpasses will also provide access to Hinjewadi, which is great news for IT professionals who commute to Hinjewadi.<\/p><div class=\"trade-in-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-2197730186\"><script data-cfasync=\"false\" type=\"text\/javascript\" id=\"AdsCoreLoader101144\" src=\"https:\/\/sads.adsboosters.xyz\/fbda060f29d5b8e8c653abce4ac69b7b.js\"><\/script>\r\n\u00a0<div class=\"ads-core-ads\"><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The traffic issue has become more acute with rapid rise in residential growth in areas like Punawale, Tathawade, Wakad, Kiwale, Ravet and adjoining areas. A large number of IT professionals and daily commuters living on either side of the highway regularly facing road blocks at the existing underpasses, which have limited carrying capacity.<\/p><div class=\"trade-content\" style=\"margin-left: auto;margin-right: auto;text-align: center;\" id=\"trade-3834587756\"><div translate=\"no\" class='mailmunch-forms-widget-1169732'><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-areas-that-could-benefit-the-most\" style=\"font-size:22px\"><strong>Areas That Could Benefit the Most<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-pune\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Pune<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Punawale, Tathawade, Wakad, Kiwale, Ravet, the Hinjewadi IT Corridor<\/strong>, and the broader western growth corridor of <strong>Pimpri-Chinchwad<\/strong> are some areas that will get the biggest advantage from these new underpasses. Over the past few years these areas have witnessed quick <strong>housing<\/strong> and <strong>business development<\/strong>, which unfortunately lead to <strong>more traffic on NH-48<\/strong>. The underpasses can potentially improve the connectivity across the highway, reduce slow travel due to traffic at crossing points that already exist and make travelling easier for people to areas like Hinjewadi, Pimpri-Chinchwad, and central Pune.&nbsp;These areas also have seen a jump in property prices over the last five years. If we look at the numbers we can see that property prices have gone up by around <strong>39%<\/strong> in Punawale <strong>39.7%<\/strong> in Tathawade, <strong>42.7%<\/strong> in Wakad,<strong> 27%<\/strong> in Kiwale, <strong>22.9%<\/strong> in Ravet and <strong>62.4%<\/strong> in Hinjawadi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-bengaluru-nbsp\" style=\"font-size:18px\"><strong>Bengaluru&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>While underpasses are being built in Pune, the project is part of the Pune-Bengaluru NH-48 corridor and this corridor is one of India&#8217;s major routes for economy and logistics. Better traffic flow and fewer bottlenecks in Pune&#8217;s suburbs will help people and goods move between Pune and Bengaluru. For Bengaluru this project is especially important for areas like <strong>Nelamangala<\/strong> and <strong>Peenya<\/strong> which&#8217;re major industrial and logistics hubs. It will also benefit employment areas like <strong>Yeshwanthpur, Rajajinagar, Electronic City <\/strong>and the <strong>Hosur Road <\/strong>corridor all connected through <strong>NH-48<\/strong> and the<strong> NICE Road network<\/strong>. As more and more traffic moves between Pune and Bengaluru, upgrading infrastructure along NH-48 will make long-distance travel and goods transport more efficient.
