Bangladesh will be facing the West Indies in a three-match T20I series which will be starting from October 27, 2025, held in Chattogram, with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announcing a 15-member squad. Litton Das has returned to lead the side after recovering from injury.

The series marks Bangladesh’s final T20 assignment of the year, giving them a chance to test their bench strength before the 2026 T20 World Cup. The selectors have focused on balancing youth and experience to build a competitive and consistent side for future challenges.

Litton Das Returns

Litton Das, who missed the Asia Cup 2025 and the white-ball series against Afghanistan, due to a side strain injury, makes his much-awaited return to the national team. The 31-year-old completed his rehabilitation at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka and has been cleared to play. His comeback brings stability and experience to Bangladesh’s batting lineup, as well as leadership at the top.

The selectors have trusted Litton’s form and captaincy skills to guide the young squad in this important home series. His presence is expected to strengthen Bangladesh’s top order, which struggled for consistency in his absence.
