The Williams racing team are set to refresh their identity from 2026, rebranding the team as Williams F1 team and unveiling a new logo from the next season. The Grove-based team is among the most successful teams in history for Formula One with nine constructor champions, seven drivers’ championships and 114 grand prix in almost 50 years as a team.

Along with the introduction of sweeping new chassis and power unit rules, Williams racing team have also decided to rebrand their name and logo. The reason being “connects the team’s glorious legacy to its bold and ambitious future”, and team logo. According to team principal James Vowles, the name changes and the historically inspired logo is a way to connect to the new era with its long running history and Frank Williams legacy.

The team will be rebranded as Atlassian Williams F1 team in 2026, with Atlassian being their title partner. Besides the rebranding with the name of the team, the logo will also undergo a change. Williams will also use a new logo, inspired by Frank Williams’ (team founder) Forward W emblem, which was first used in 1977 and featured on all its constructors’ championship-winning cars.

This evolved team identity reflects who we are, where we are going, and reintroduces our title-winning legacy to a growing F1 audience that was not following the sport when we were last dominant.

On the track right now, Williams are set to finish fifth the F1 standings this season, which would mark as their highest results since the 2017 season. Williams drivers Alex Albon and Carlos Sainz have had their most competitive season this year with F1 standings at eighth and eleventh on the table. Carlos Sainz gave the team their first podium since 2021 with a brilliant drive to third in Baku.

Ahead of this weekend’s Sao Paulo Grand Prix, the squad sit fifth in the teams’ standings, 39 points clear of Racing Bulls with four Grand Prix weekends – two of which are Sprints – left to go.
