Real Madrid’s key striker Kylian Mbappé recorded the 2nd-fastest Champions League hat trick against Olympiacos on Wednesday night. They defeated Olympiacos by 4-3. Mbappé brought home the victory by scoring all four goals for the team.
The French star Kylian Mbappé recorded his fastest career hat-trick and the second fastest Champions League hat-trick on Wednesday. He scored three goals in seven minutes. He added his fourth goal in the 59th minute of the second half, beating them to 4-3.
He recorded the second fastest hat-trick in 6 minutes, 42 seconds. Mohammed Salah holds the record of the fastest Champions League hat-trick, just thirty seconds quicker than Mbappé, at 6 minutes, 12 seconds in 2022.
Mbappé levelled the score by 1-1 in the 22nd minute, his second goal came two minutes later in the 24th minute, followed by his hat-trick goal in the 29th minute.

Mbappé: “I’m very happy, scoring goals is always a pleasure. “My teammates gave me some good assists. I’m lucky to play with these players. I always try to score, and sometimes it happens, but sometimes it doesn’t.”
This is Mbappé’s second hat-trick this season as he sits in the fifth position of the all-time Champions League scoring list. He had scored three times against Kairat in the second round of the league phase.
Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo lead the table of most hat-tricks in Champions League history with a draw of eight hat-tricks each, sitting behind Robert Lewandowski with six hat-tricks to his name.
“His goals are crucial, it’s a natural talent that he has, but that’s not all. His personality, teamwork, unity… it’s all among the intangibles that he brings,” Madrid coach Xabi Alonso said of Mbappé’s performance.
