The revised schedule of Messi’s “Goat Tour” will now take place in all the four corners of India – Kolkata (east), Hyderabad (south), Mumbai (west) and Delhi (north). This event would be one of the biggest events held in India.

Lionel Messi’s much awaited “Goat Tour” has brought upon a major change with a newly added venue Hyderabad officially added as the new southern leg of the tour following the cancellation of the friendly proposed match by Argentina in Kerala.

“Now we are covering the south also. This will be a tribute to millions of football fans in South India” said Satadru Dutta, the sole organiser of the ‘GOAT Tour to India 2025’ to PTI on Saturday (November 1, 2025).

The Kochi friendly match which was initially planned on November 17 got cancelled after the delays following on the necessary clearances. In compensation, Hyderabad was chosen as a new venue for the tour.

“I wanted to make it a pan-India event and now that the Kerala event is cancelled, south people are getting deprived to see Messi,” Dutta told PTI, confirming that the Hyderabad event will take place either at the Gachibowli or Rajiv Gandhi stadium.

Messi Goat Tour Updated Schedule

Messi will begin his tour starting from Kolkata on December 13 and the trip will end with a meeting with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. During the tour, there will be meet and greet sessions, football events scouting for young talent and musical concerts celebrating the legend. The activity happening in Kolkata will be followed by Hyderabad in the same evening.

Later, Lionel Messi is scheduled to visit Mumbai on December 14, 2025, at the Wankhede stadium which will include events like a Padel GOAT cup, football masterclasses scouting young talent and celebrity appearances from Shah Rukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar. At last, Lionel Messi will visit the capital, Delhi where the event will be taken place at the Arun Jaitley stadium on December 15, 2025.

 The tickets will be exclusively available on the official event ticketing platform, District by Zomato. Ticket sales have witnessed a massive response across venues. In Mumbai, all 28,000 seats at the Wankhede Stadium, priced from Rs 6,980, are already sold out, as per ticketing portal district.in. Kolkata’s 68,000-capacity stadium is nearing full occupancy, with tickets starting at Rs 4,366, while in New Delhi, where the Arun Jaitley Stadium can accommodate 28,000 fans, prices begin at Rs 7,670 and it’s also close to being sold out.
