Shai Hope has carved his name into the record books with one of the most unmatched world records in cricket. The captain of West Indies has become the very first player in history to hit international centuries against all 12 nations that play Test matches. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This accomplishment is somewhat similar to that of the biggest legends of the game like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Ricky Ponting, Brian Lara, or Kumar Sangakkara who never got this far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hope got this accolade when he made a magnificent 109 not out against New Zealand on November 19, 2025<\/em>, thus, completed the set and claimed to be the only one to score centuries against every Full Member country. What adds to the significance of this milestone is Hope’s eventuality of being the one performing in crises and especially in ODIs being one of the greats in the current era.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After this 109* against New Zealand on November 19, 2025, Shai Hope completed his list of centuries against all 12 Test-playing nations. He already had centuries against Pakistan, England, India, Bangladesh, Ireland, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Netherlands, South Africa, Nepal, Zimbabwe and Australia, and this knock against New Zealand made him the first cricketer in history to achieve this across formats.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hope\u2019s career is marked with some great innings, starting from his two Test centuries at Headingley in 2017, to enormous ODI scores all over the world. His versatility to bat from one end, be the savior, and hit long match-winning innings has been the pillar of the West Indies cricket team in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
