The SportsTak <\/em>has reported that Hardik Pandya is not injured but rather the selectors are taking a prudent approach by managing his load<\/strong>. He has participated in an extensive program starting from the IPL followed by white-ball cricket. There are worries about him being overused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selectors are in favor of taking good care of India’s fast-bowling resources and spreading them wisely over different formats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, the Indian team has chosen other pace bowlers with good records for this series who are likely to play a less significant role in Tests, thus creating a more balanced bowling group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Considering Siraj\u2019s recent workload including the Test matches, it would be a good move to drop him to be able to control his fitness and form for more important white-ball assignments later on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
