During Wednesday’s trading session, shares of a technology-based company engaged in waste valorisation and bioenergy solutions surged nearly 8 percent on BSE, after reporting H1 FY26 financial results with a rise in net profit by around 33 percent HoH and 79 percent YoY.

At 02:58 p.m., shares of Organic Recycling Systems Limited were trading at Rs. 275.6 on BSE, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 278, with a market cap of Rs. 238.6 crores.

The stock has delivered positive returns of around 6 percent in one year, and has gained by more than 10 percent in the last one month. Additionally, the stock hit its 52-week high at Rs. 400 on 20th December 2024, and is currently trading at a discount of over 31 percent.

Organic Recycling Systems Limited (ORSL) announced the financial results for the first half of FY26 on Wednesday during market hours, as per the latest regulatory filings with the BSE.

For H1 FY26, the company reported a consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 30 crores, reflecting a sequential growth of more than 14 percent HoH compared to Rs. 26.2 crores in H2 FY25, and a year-on-year increase of more than 70 percent from Rs. 17.6 crores recorded in H1 FY25.

During the same period, the net profit of Organic Recycling Systems stood at Rs. 12 crores, representing an increase of over 33 percent HoH from Rs. 9 crores, as well as a significant growth of around 79 percent YoY from Rs. 6.7 crores.

As per the September 2025 shareholding data available with the BSE, Gauri Khan, wife of renowned actor Shah Rukh Khan, holds a 1.42 percent stake in the company on his behalf.

Organic Recycling Systems Limited is engaged in the business of waste management services, securing projects through bids invited by various Municipal Corporations.

The company is involved in technology development focused on pioneering in developing solutions focused on the Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) space. It is mainly engaged in the construction, development and maintenance of waste-to-energy projects, particularly in the municipal solid waste sector, through various Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).
