3i Infotech Limited has a total market capitalization of approximately Rs. 409 crore. The company’s shares were trading at Rs. 19.59 apiece on the stock exchange. The stock has delivered 5.89 percent returns over the last five trading sessions and 13.63 percent returns over the past month. It touched a 52-week high of Rs. 25 and a 52-week low of Rs. 12.68.

According to the company’s press release, consolidated operating revenue increased to Rs. 177.9 crore in Q1 FY27 from Rs. 170.5 crore in the corresponding quarter last year, registering a 4.3 percent YoY growth. Gross margin improved significantly to 14.4 percent from 11.2 percent, reflecting better operational efficiency. The company reported EBITDA of Rs. 11.5 crore with an EBITDA margin of 6.4 percent, while net profit stood at Rs. 6.5 crore during the quarter. The company also secured fresh order bookings with a Total Contract Value (TCV) of Rs. 240.9 crore and an Annual Contract Value (ACV) of Rs. 195.6 crore, providing healthy revenue visibility for the coming quarters.

According to the company’s exchange filing, 3i Infotech has also received purchase orders worth Rs. 6.32 crore (excluding applicable taxes) from a leading domestic two-wheeler manufacturer for the renewal of its DMS Helpdesk Services. The one-year contract covers operational support, project management and helpdesk services across nearly 2,000 customer and dealer locations across India. The company clarified that the customer is not related to the promoter group and that the transaction does not constitute a related-party transaction.

The quarter reflects improving execution across the company’s digital transformation business despite a competitive IT spending environment. While EBITDA declined compared to the previous year due to the absence of a one-time income recognised in Q1 FY26, the improvement in gross margins indicates stronger operational discipline and better project execution. At the same time, the healthy order inflow and continued profitability suggest that the company is successfully balancing growth investments with margin protection.

Another encouraging development is the company’s continued expansion of its customer base. During the quarter, 3i Infotech added more than 25 new clients, while its revenue mix remained diversified across Application, Automation & Analytics (AAA), Infrastructure Services and Business Process Services. The company also witnessed strong growth in the Middle East, where revenue increased 64 percent sequentially, highlighting the success of its international expansion strategy and reducing dependence on any single geography.

Management stated that it remains focused on executing its long-term strategy built around six key priorities People, Process, Productivity, Platform, Partnering and Profitability. The company continues to invest in AI-enabled solutions, cloud transformation, cybersecurity and platform-led services, positioning itself to benefit from rising enterprise demand for digital transformation across industries.

For investors, the combination of steady revenue growth, improving operational efficiency, healthy order bookings of over Rs. 240 crore and the addition of new recurring service contracts provides greater confidence in the company’s medium-term growth prospects. Continued execution of high-value digital transformation projects, expansion across overseas markets and increasing adoption of AI and cloud solutions could support sustainable revenue growth and improve profitability over the coming quarters.
