Bollywood star Govinda was admitted to CritiCare Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai, after he fainted at his home around midnight, the news was reported by his legal advisor and his close friend Lalit Bindal stating that he is under observation and undergoing tests at the hospital.
What happened to Govinda?
According to Lalit Bindal, the 61-year-old suddenly lost consciousness at home on a Monday midnight and was rushed to CritiCare hospital in Juhu for medical treatment.
“He fainted in the evening and called me. I brought him to CritiCare Hospital. He is under observation and undergoing tests,” Bindal told PTI.
Govinda’s hospitalisation was followed by just a day after visiting the veteran actor Dharmendra who was at the Breach Candy Hospital. A day after that, his admission at the hospital sparked a worry among the fans.
According to the reports, Govinda was brought to the hospital on November 12, 2025, and was shifted to the emergency room. Sashi Sinha, his manager confirmed with the press that Govinda was experiencing a severe headache, felt very dizzy due to the heaviness in his head.
“He had a severe headache and felt heaviness in his head. He also felt dizzy, and because of that, he has been advised to see a neurologist. Doctors are conducting a check-up. He was admitted last night, and the doctor will examine him soon.”
Due to this reason, the actor was rushed to the hospital and was advised to consult a neurologist. She also stated that the doctor is running tests and keeping him under observation and the reports are now awaited.

How is Govinda now?
With the continuous progress regarding his health, the doctors are satisfied and were clear with a discharge on Wednesday afternoon. His appearance outside the hospital, stylish, smiling, and brimming with positive energy.
His light-hearted attitude instantly lifted a cheer among the fans. Govinda quickly shared an update on his health saying, “Zyada hard work kar liya… fatigue hogaya tha… Ab thik hun… ((I worked a bit too hard, got fatigued, but I’m fine now).”
Govinda returns home with a positive smile. He expressed his heartfelt gratuity to his fans that kept him in his good prayers during the hospital stay.
