Hema Malini took on X(formerly tweeter) to clarify that the behaviour of media and trustable news sources is “unforgiveable”. She went on to write about how irresponsible the channels are to spread false news about a person who is recovering.
She urges the media to respect their privacy at this time and requests respect in this time of suffering.
According to her it is positive that Dharam Paji (as fondly called) is responding well to the treatment and is on the path of recovering. All the statements surrounding his death and other details are not true.
Esha Deol also posted on Instagram expressing frustration towards all the false news articles of her father’s demise. She also confirmed that Dharmendra is stable and recovering. She stated that the media is in a quiet overdrive and thus spreading news that is false.

The family urged fans and well-wishers to not believe whatever that has been published and emphasised on the need for respect and privacy at this time.
