Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal were reportedly to get married on November 24, Monday. During the festive celebrations, Smriti Mandhana’s father suffered from a heart related medical emergency as he was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

Palash Muchhal is said to be under observation and recovery in Mumbai. The doctors treating him had confirmed that he is stable and his cause of the chest discomfort was plainly due to a stress-related distress.

The music composer is set to be discharged soon but has been advised to take complete rest for three weeks.

Palash Muchhal was reportedly taken to a hospital in Sangli after he complained of chest pain. He was later shifted to SRV hospital in Mumbai on Monday, November 24.

Things tensed up when he started complaining of severe chest pain, major discomfort and trouble in breathing. Later he was medically assisted with cardiac tests, including an ECG and a 2D echocardiography.

“Palash’s condition appears to be linked to stress-related distress rather than a serious cardiac event.” Said one of the doctors treating him. He also added that there were no signs of medical emergency even though there were fluctuations in his levels.

Palash was given basic medical treatment like oxygen therapy and kept under close observation before being moved to a general room.

The medical authorities have confirmed that there was no emergency as such, the cause of his discomfort was due to the anxiety caused by the situation regarding Smriti Mandhana’s father.

It was also brought to the attention of the fans that Smriti Mandhana had taken down all her wedding related posts from social media. The wedding faced a postponement while the official confirmation from the families still awaits.
