A foreign institutional investor (FII) is an investor or investment fund that invests in a nation other than the one where it is registered or based. The phrase foreign institutional investor is most widely used in India to refer to overseas firms that invest in the country’s financial markets.

Balu Forge Industries Ltd

With a market capitalization of Rs 2,717.66 crore, the shares closed at Rs 264.90 per share, decreased around 1.76 percent as compared to the previous price. 

Foreign institutional investors increased their stake in the company by 2.29 percent,i.e., from 6.48 percent in Q2FY24 to 8.77 percent in Q3FY24. As of the December quarter of FY 23-24, the promoters hold a 56.07 percent stake, while retail investors hold a 33.21 percent stake in the company.

Ami Organics Ltd 

Ami Organics Limited is a prominent maker of specialized chemicals that prioritizes R&D. The firm manufactures a variety of Advanced Pharmaceutical Intermediates and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) for New Chemical Entities, as well as agrochemical and fine chemicals. 

With a market capitalization of Rs 4,067.19 crore, the shares closed at Rs 1,102.80 per share, decreased around 2.13 percent as compared to the previous price. 

Foreign institutional investors increased their stake in the company by 4.51 percent,i.e., from 7.15 percent in Q2FY24 to 11.66 percent in Q3FY24. As of the December quarter of FY 23-24, the promoters hold a 39.91 percent stake, while retail investors hold a 40.85 percent stake in the company.
