New Delhi, Jan 4 (PTI) Aluminium prices on Tuesday rose 0.33 per cent to Rs 226 per kg in the futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for the January delivery gained 75 paise, or 0.33 per cent, to Rs 226 per kg in a business turnover of 2,140 lots.
Analysts said the creation of positions by traders on renewed demand from consumer industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
