New Delhi, Jan 14 (PTI) Crude oil prices on Friday rose Rs 46 to Rs 6,127 per barrel as participants widened their positions on a firm spot demand.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for the January delivery traded higher by Rs 46, or 0.76 per cent, to Rs 6,127 per barrel in 7,694 lots.
Analysts said raising of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in the futures trade.
Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil was trading 0.65 per cent higher at USD 82.65 per barrel, while Brent crude traded 0.91 per cent up at USD 85.24 per barrel in New York. PTI RUJ HRS hrs
