SBI Group, through its subsidiary SBI Mutual Funds, invests in a diverse array of mutual fund schemes, encompassing equity, debt, and hybrid options. Some prominent schemes managed by SBI Mutual Funds include the SBI Contra Fund, SBI Long Term Equity Fund, and SBI Healthcare Opportunities Fund. 

In its latest corporate shareholdings filing, SBI Group disclosed a stake of 165 stocks, totaling a net worth exceeding ₹5,54,022.6 crores. 

Listed below are three stocks in which SBI Group’s portfolio bought a fresh stake in the March quarter of FY23-24.

Abbott India Ltd 

On Monday, Abbott India Ltd shares were trading at ₹26,359, up 0.53 percent on the National Stock Exchange from the previous close price, The company has a market capitalization of ₹56,013 crore. 

Abbott India Ltd is one of the leading multinational pharmaceutical companies in India and sells its products through independent distributors primarily within India. 

Abbott India Ltd’s stock has experienced a 20 percent increase over the past six months and a 19 percent increase over the past year. 

During the March Quarter of FY 23-24, SBI Group’s SBI Nifty Midcap 150 Index Fund bought 4,00,027 equity shares, equivalent to a 1.88 percent stake in the company. 

The company’s promoter currently holds a 74.99 percent stake, while Foreign Institutional investors hold a 0.18 percent stake as of the March quarter of FY23-24. and Domestic Institutional Investors hold an 8.91 percent stake in the company. 

Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd 

On Tuesday, Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd shares were trading at ₹1,410, down 1.04 percent on the National Stock Exchange from the previous close price, The company has a market capitalization of ₹2,825 crore. 

Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd is primarily engaged in the manufacturing of pumps and motors of various kinds. It also offers advanced water pumping solutions to a wide range of applications such as irrigation, horticulture, domestic water supply, and commercial and industrial applications. 

Shakti Pumps (India) Ltd’s stock has experienced a 62 percent increase over the past six months and a 238 percent increase over the past year. 

During the March Quarter of FY 23-24, SBI Group’s SBI Mutual Fund acquired 8,27,472 equity shares, equivalent to a 4.13 percent stake in the company. 

The company’s promoter currently holds a 51.57 percent stake, while Foreign Institutional investors hold a 0.77 percent stake as of the March quarter of FY23-24. and Domestic Institutional Investors hold an 8.68 percent stake in the company. 

Campus Activewear Ltd 

On Tuesday, Campus Activewear Ltd shares were trading at ₹235, up 2.15 percent on the National Stock Exchange from the previous close price, The company has a market capitalization of ₹7,175 crore 

Campus Activewear Ltd.’s stock has experienced an 18 percent decrease over the past six months and a 29 percent decrease over the past year. 

In the March quarter of FY 23-24, SBI Group’s SBI Magnum Children’s Benefit Fund – Investment purchased 64,10,878 equity shares, representing a 2.10 percent ownership interest in the company. 

As of the March quarter of FY23-24, the company’s promoter maintains ownership of 73.88 percent of the stake, while Foreign Institutional Investors own 5.22 percent, and Domestic Institutional Investors hold 7.79 percent in the company.
