The project covers the development of sewerage and wastewater treatment infrastructure, including operation and maintenance, and is expected to strengthen the company’s order book and revenue visibility.

Shares of Greenleaf Envirotech Limited are likely to remain in focus after the company received a Letter of Acceptance from the Water Corporation of Odisha (WATCO) for a wastewater infrastructure project worth Rs. 4.16 crore, excluding applicable GST.

Greenleaf Envirotech Limited has a total market capitalization of approximately Rs. 66.17 crore. The company’s shares were trading at Rs. 111.60 apiece on the stock exchange. The stock has gained 9.84 percent over the last five trading sessions, while it has gained 92.14 percent over the last month. The stock touched a 52-week high of Rs. 185.90 and a 52-week low of Rs. 52.50.

According to the company’s exchange filing, Greenleaf Envirotech has received the Letter of Acceptance from WATCO following a competitive bidding process. The total contract value stands at Rs. 4.16 crore, excluding GST, and the order has been awarded by a domestic entity.

The scope of the project includes the design, drawing, construction, testing and commissioning of a sewerage system, Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), along with operation and maintenance services. The work will be carried out in accordance with the prescribed specifications, drawings, Bill of Quantities and other tender requirements.

The project is scheduled to be executed within 12 months. Under the contract terms, the company is required to submit the prescribed initial security deposit and, wherever applicable, additional performance security, along with executing the formal agreement within 15 days from the date of the Letter of Acceptance.

The new order is expected to strengthen Greenleaf Envirotech’s order book and provide additional revenue visibility over the execution period. As the contract covers the entire project lifecycle, from design and construction to commissioning and operation and maintenance, it also demonstrates the company’s integrated capabilities in executing end-to-end wastewater treatment projects.

The inclusion of operation and maintenance services is particularly important as it can extend the company’s involvement beyond the initial construction and commissioning phase. Such projects can help Greenleaf Envirotech strengthen its execution credentials in municipal wastewater infrastructure and improve its ability to participate in similar government and urban infrastructure tenders.

India’s wastewater treatment sector is seeing growing demand as urbanisation, industrial expansion and stricter environmental regulations increase the need for sewage and effluent treatment infrastructure. Government and municipal investments in sewerage networks, STPs and ETPs create opportunities for specialised EPC companies such as Greenleaf Envirotech that can provide integrated design, construction, commissioning and maintenance solutions.

For investors, the development strengthens the company’s project pipeline and expands its presence in public-sector wastewater infrastructure. The Rs. 4.16 crore order can contribute to revenue over the next 12 months, while successful execution could further strengthen the company’s track record in government-backed water and wastewater projects. The O&M component also adds a longer-term service element to the project beyond the initial EPC execution.

Incorporated in 2010, Greenleaf Envirotech Limited provides comprehensive engineering, procurement and construction and turnkey solutions for wastewater treatment projects. The company specialises in sewage treatment plants, effluent treatment plants and related environmental infrastructure solutions, along with operation and maintenance services.
