Synopsis: Meta Infotech has received fresh and renewal cloud security subscription orders worth Rs 2.58 crore from a well-known domestic mutual fund and investment management company. These orders are valid from June 2026 to May 2027. This win adds to the company’s growing cybersecurity order book. It follows a strong performance in FY25, where profits increased by over 60%.

Meta Infotech Limited, a cybersecurity software products and services company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange, emerged as a notable gainer on April 8, 2026, after disclosing the receipt of fresh and renewal orders worth Rs 2.58 crore.

The orders were placed by a leading domestic mutual fund and investment management firm for cloud security subscriptions covering the period from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027. The company noted that execution will begin within 60 days of the order. This transaction is confirmed as a non-related party deal with no promoter or group interest in the client.

For Meta Infotech, these renewal orders represent a strategic victory, indicating both client retention and reliability in a trusted industry. Since financial institutions see cloud security as essential, these renewals support the vendor’s expertise and open the door for more business. This deal highlights the broader trend of India’s financial sector increasing its cloud adoption while sharpening its focus on cybersecurity.

Following the order disclosure, investor sentiment remains bullish. On April 9, 2026, shares of Meta Infotech hit the upper circuit, trading at Rs 82.77 on the BSE, a 5.00% increase from the previous close of Rs 78.83.

This follows a stellar FY25, where the company reported a 60.7% year-on-year surge in consolidated net profit to Rs 10.51 crore, supported by a 40.3% rise in revenue to Rs 152.13 crore.
