According to the company’s exchange filing, the first contract has been awarded by the Ratnagiri Municipal Council, Ratnagiri, with a contract value of Rs. 4.66 crore. The project involves the appointment of agencies for integrated GIS-based urban spatial data development, including base map preparation, existing land use mapping, underground utility mapping and development plan preparation under the MRTP Act, 1966.

The second order has been received from Madhya Pradesh Road Development Corporation Limited (MPRDC) and is valued at Rs. 2.53 crore. Under the contract, the company will provide consultancy services for the preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for road over bridges (ROBs), bridges, flyovers, bypasses and selected stretches of state highways across Madhya Pradesh.

Both contracts have been awarded by domestic government entities and will commence immediately upon issuance of the letter of acceptance, subject to the necessary statutory approvals. The company further clarified that neither the promoters nor the promoter group have any interest in the awarding entities, and the contracts do not constitute related party transactions.

The latest project strengthens Monarch Surveyors’ order book and reinforce its expertise in engineering consultancy, surveying and infrastructure planning. The contracts also enhance the company’s presence in government-backed urban development and transportation infrastructure projects, providing healthy revenue visibility over the execution period.

India’s infrastructure sector continues to witness strong public investment in urban planning, smart city initiatives and road network expansion. Increasing spending on GIS-based planning, transportation infrastructure and highway development is expected to create significant opportunities for engineering consultancy firms with specialised technical capabilities.

For investors, the two government consultancy contracts demonstrate Monarch Surveyors’ ability to secure diversified infrastructure assignments across both urban development and transportation sectors. Continued execution of such projects could strengthen the company’s order pipeline and support long-term business growth.
