Synopsis: PM-KISAN is helping the farmers by depositing a fixed amount every year. This money helps them with regular farming and manage household expenses. With new rules coming in, understanding how the scheme works has become important.
Farmers are expecting the installment from the PM-KISAN scheme as the new year begins. The 22nd instalment will be released soon and later followed by the 23rd and 24th installment. But an important rule has been announced for the new payments for 2026.
To keep receiving PM-KISAN money, farmers must now have a valid Farmer ID. The government has made it clear that farmers without this ID may not receive future instalments. It is important for all the beneficiaries to check and update their details required for the eligibility of the new payment.

Benefits & Financial Assistance
The biggest benefit of PM-KISAN is direct financial support that doesn’t have to be paid back. Here’s what farmers get:
₹6,000 per year to every eligible farmer family which is paid in three instalments of ₹2,000 each. Money goes straight into the farmer’s bank account through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This support helps farmers buy seeds, tools, helps in maintaining the labour cost and even their household expenses. This reduces the need to borrow from any other lenders or banks at high interest.

The application process is very easy and straightforward. You just need to:
