Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has introduced two new AC bus services, which will start on Monday from Kanakapura and Channapatna to Electronics City Wipro Gate via NICE Road. The new bus services will boost connectivity between the various suburbs and the IT corridor at Electronics City. The new routes introduced recently EX-V-KNP-1A and EX-V-CPT-1A will provide connectivity via AC buses to the passengers travelling to Electronics City. The two routes are designed for the convenience of the frequent users of this route like IT professionals, students and passengers.

EX-V-KNP-1A – Kanakapura to Electronics City Wipro Gate
This route connects the road between Kanakapura and Electronics City Wipro Gate via NICE Road. The bus is AC with direct link to the IT corridor in the city of Bengaluru from Kanakapura. The bus starts from Kanakapura at 7:45 AM and the reverse journey starts from Electronics City Wipro Gate at 5:45 PM. The total cost of the ticket is ₹130 which includes the toll cost and GST.
EX-V-CPT-1A – Channapatna to Electronics City Wipro Gate
This route connects Channapatna with Electronics City Wipro Gate via NICE Road. The service will provide better commuting options for passengers travelling from Channapatna and nearby areas to Electronics City. The bus departs from Channapatna at 7:45 AM, and the return service starts from Electronics City Wipro Gate at 5:45 PM. The fare is ₹170, including toll charges and GST.
