Under this scheme, all the eligible women will receive ₹2000 per month through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The amount is credited directly into the beneficiary’s bank account without involvement of any third party.

Note: If the woman or her husband is an income tax payer or GST return filer, the household is not eligible

How to Apply for Gruha Lakshmi Scheme

The application process is kept simple so that everyone can apply without stress. You can apply through:

  • Seva Sindhu portal
  • If you are a first time user, you will need to register and if you have already register you can simple go the portal and login.
  • After logging in, go to Apply for Services and choose application for Gruha Lakshmi Scheme.
  • Now fill in the form with your basic personal details.
  • Next, enter your bank details. You can select the bank account that is linked with your Aadhaar or choose another bank account and fill in the required details.
  • Click on Aadhaar Verification, you will get an OTP sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number. You have to enter the OTP ad click submit.
  • Once you have completed these steps, cross-check the details again carefully and submit the application.
  • After submitting, don’t forget to note down the application number. You will need this number to check the status of your application.

Registration is free of cost, and there is no last date to apply for this. Applications are accepted throughout the year.
