The Major Policy Changes: The Two-Tiered System
The key change made is categorising the lounge access with their card type. The two sets – A and B – are divided based on:
- Set A Lounges: Exclusively for premium/higher-tier SBI credit cards.
- Set B Lounges: Applicable to SBI PRIME and Platinum credit cards.
Cardholders must verify their specific card’s classification to confirm eligible lounges. The program is managed via network partners (Visa, Mastercard, or RuPay) and subject to their terms.

How to Use Your SBI Card for Lounge Access in 2026
- First you have to confirm that your SBI card includes lounge access benefits on the SBI Card website.
- Then verify the participating lounges through the card network websites (Visa, Mastercard, or RuPay).
- Always keep your physical card with you as digital cards are not accepted. While approaching the lounge, provide your physical card and boarding pass to the lounge staff.
- Your card will be swiped for a nominal authorization fee (₹2 for Visa/RuPay) to confirm eligibility and deduct a complimentary visit.
