Shares of Neetu Yoshi Limited are likely to remain in focus after the company announced that it has received purchase orders aggregating approximately Rs. 17.12 crore from the Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, Indian Railways and an India-based manufacturer for the manufacture and supply of railway axle box housings and track components.

According to the company’s exchange filing, the orders involve the manufacture and supply of finish-machined axle box housings, cast steel bearing plates, cast steel slide chairs and cast steel insulated tie plates in accordance with RDSO specifications and drawings. The contract includes inspection by the designated authority, payment as per contractual terms and immediate as well as phased deliveries between October 1, 2026 and September 30, 2027.
The contract is strategically important as it comes from the Integral Coach Factory, one of Indian Railways’ largest rolling stock manufacturing units. Orders from railway entities generally involve stringent quality standards, technical compliance and long-term vendor qualification processes. Successful execution of these orders can strengthen Neetu Yoshi’s credentials with Indian Railways and improve its ability to secure larger contracts from railway production units and infrastructure projects in the future.
The products covered under the order are critical safety and operational components used in railway rolling stock and track infrastructure. Axle box housings support wheel bearings and ensure smooth movement of railway coaches, while bearing plates, slide chairs and insulated tie plates are essential for maintaining track stability and operational reliability. Demand for such specialised metallurgical products is expected to remain strong as Indian Railways continues expanding its network, modernising rolling stock and investing in dedicated freight corridors and high-speed rail infrastructure.
India’s railway sector continues to receive substantial capital allocation under the government’s infrastructure development plans. Ongoing investments in new railway lines, station redevelopment, freight corridors, Vande Bharat trains and track modernisation are expected to drive sustained demand for specialised castings, fabricated components and railway engineering products. Manufacturers with established technical capabilities and approved supplier status are likely to benefit from this long-term investment cycle.
For investors, the latest order provides improved revenue visibility over the coming financial year while reinforcing Neetu Yoshi’s presence in the railway engineering segment. Timely execution of the contract could strengthen the company’s order book, enhance customer confidence and improve its prospects of securing additional orders from Indian Railways and other infrastructure customers, supporting long-term business growth.
