Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) have shown renewed confidence in selected Indian equities during June and July 2025, sharply increasing their stakes despite broader market volatility. Among these, two companies stood out, with FIIs raising their holdings by more than 8 percent, signalling strong institutional interest and a potential positive outlook for these companies.

RACL Geartech Limited

With a market cap of Rs. 1,072 crores, the stock surged by nearly 2 percent on BSE, rising to Rs. 920.65 on Monday. RACL Geartech Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing automotive components meant for two, three, and four-wheeler vehicles. It has also expanded into subassemblies, industrial gears for electrical switch gears and circuit breakers, winches, and cranes.

The company supplies to top Global OEMs like BMW Mottarad (Germany), Kubota Corporation (Japan, Thailand, and USA), KTM AG (Austria), Schneider Electric (Germany), Dana (Italy and China), amongst others. As of the latest shareholding pattern with the BSE, FII holdings surged from just 0.03 percent in March 2025 to 8.76 percent in June 2025, a rise of 8.73 percent.

On the financial front, the company’s revenue from operations declined by around 18 percent YoY to Rs. 87.3 crores, while the net profit also fell by nearly 23 percent YoY to Rs. 6.5 crores in Q4 FY25.

Marathon Nextgen Realty Limited

With a market cap of Rs. 5,086 crores, the stock surged by nearly 1.3 percent on BSE, rising to Rs. 762.95 on Monday. Marathon Nextgen Realty Limited is primarily engaged in the business of construction, development, and sale of commercial and residential real estate projects. 

As of the latest shareholding pattern with the BSE, FII holdings surged from just 0.94 percent in June 2025 to 9.9 percent in July 2025, a rise of 8.96 percentage points.

On the financial front, the company’s revenue from operations declined marginally by around 4 percent YoY to Rs. 149 crores, while the net profit grew by nearly 35 percent YoY to Rs. 54 crores in Q4 FY25.
