The shares of a Small-Cap company specialising in the design, manufacture, and supply of a wide range of oil-filled and dry-type transformers, with a strong focus on high-efficiency, critical power equipment, are in focus as they have hit 20 percent lower circuit following their Q4 results.

With a market capitalization of Rs. 14,737.81 crores in the day’s trade, the shares of Voltamp Transformers Ltd hit a 20 percent lower circuit, making a low of Rs. 10,016.00 per share compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 12,520.00 per share.

Voltamp Transformers Ltd, engaged in the design, manufacture, and supply of a wide range of oil-filled and dry-type transformers, is in focus following their Q4 results as follows.

Its Revenue from operations declined by 1.21 percent YoY from Rs. 624.8 Crores in Q4FY25 to Rs. 617.2 Crores in Q4FY26, and it declined by 2.07 percent QoQ from Rs. 630.3 Crores in Q3FY26 to Rs. 617.2 Crores in Q4FY26.

Its Net Profit YoY declined by 50.5 percent from Rs. 96.8 Crores in Q4FY25 to Rs. 47.9 Crores in Q4FY26, and on a QoQ basis, it declined by 51.6 percent from Rs. 99.0 Crores in Q3FY26 to Rs. 47.9 Crores in Q4FY26. 

The earnings per share (EPS) for the quarterly period stood at Rs. 47.35, compared to Rs. 95.70 in the previous year’s quarter. The company has also recommended a dividend on Equity Shares @1000% i.e., Rs. 100/- per share of Rs. 10/- each for the year ended on March 31, 2026.

The board of directors have also approved an investment of Rs. 25 Crores for the acquisition of a new plot of land near Vadodara, to keep the land bank ready for future use, and it will be funded through internal accruals

The company entered FY27 with a solid order book of ₹1,200 crore (10,270 MVA), further bolstered by ₹310 crore (2,107 MVA) in new order inflows during April 2026. Management highlighted a robust enquiry pipeline while emphasizing a continued focus on selective bidding and disciplined order acceptance.”
