With a market capitalization of Rs. 226.93 crores on Thursday, the shares of JK Agri Genetics Ltd hit a 20 percent upper circuit, making a high of Rs. 489.40 per share compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 407.85 per share.

JK Agri Genetics Ltd, engaged in the development, production, processing, and marketing of high-quality hybrid seeds for various field and vegetable crops, has announced its Q1 results as follows.

Its Revenue from operations rose by 16 percent YoY from Rs. 78.96 Crores in Q1FY25 to Rs. 91.93 Crores in Q1FY26, and it rose by 223 percent QoQ from Rs. 27.58 Crores in Q4FY25 to Rs. 91.93 Crores in Q1FY26.

Its Net Profit YoY rose by 43 percent from Rs. 8.58 Crores in Q1FY25 to Rs. 12.28 Crores in Q1FY26, and in  QoQ from a loss of  Rs. 1.35 Crores in Q4FY25 to a profit of  Rs. 12.28 Crores in Q1FY26.

The earnings per share (EPS) for the quarter stood at Rs. 26.49, compared to Rs. 18.51 in the previous year. The company has a low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.03, indicating minimal debt relative to its equity. Its current assets exceed current liabilities, suggesting good short-term financial health. Additionally, promoter shareholding is strong, with over 65% ownership, reflecting significant control and confidence in the company’s future.
