Small cap company engaged in transportation and logistics services is in focus after it hit 20% upper circuit following its Q3 results with robust Net profit growth.

With a market capitalization of ₹4,505 Crore, the stock of VRL Logistics opened at ₹535, up 14.91% from yesterday’s closing price of 466.75. For a brief period, the stock hit the upper circuit of 20% at 560.10.
Q3FY25 Results
The company reported a 10.70 % YoY increase in revenue from ₹736.67 Crore in Q3FY24 to ₹825 Crore in Q3FY25. On a QoQ basis, the company reported an increase of 3.19 % in revenue from ₹799.48 Crore in the previous quarter.
Their Net profit saw an impressive 335.31 % YoY increase from ₹13.65 Crore to ₹59.42 Crore for the same period. On a QoQ, basis their net profits saw an increase of 65.93 % from ₹35.81 Crore for the same period.
EBITDA Margin for Q3FY25 stood at 21 % compared to 13 % for Q3FY24, and the Net Profit Margin stood at 7 % from 2 % for the same period.

The company operates a fleet of 6,101 owned vehicles and hires additional vehicles as needed. With a vast network of 1,248 branches and 50 massive transshipment hubs, it also serves a customer base of over 9 lakh
Key points given by the company for good performance in the current Quarter were, Freight hikes were implemented across all sectors and geographies leading to an increase in realization while maintaining tonnage, Optimisation of Routes – Minimizing movement through multiple Transhipment hubs across major routes, leading to a reduction in the frequent Loading and Unloading of consignments, and control on dependency on outside vehicles results into reduction of Lorry Hire charges
