The shares of the fabric manufacturing company hit 5 percent upper circuit in today’s trading session after the company’s board of directors considered and approved a bonus issue in the ratio of 2:1.
With a market capitalization of Rs 39.46 crore, the shares of Jakharia Fabric Ltd were trading at Rs 97.10 per share, increasing around 4.97 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 92.50 apiece.
The shares of Jakharia Fabric Ltd have seen positive movement after the board of directors considered and approved a bonus issue in the ratio of 2:1, i.e., 2 new fully paid-up Equity Shares for every 1 existing fully paid-up Equity Shares of Rs. 10 each held by the shareholders of the Company as on the record date to be fixed by the Board.
The company reported an 8.3% revenue decline from Rs 33.51 crore in H1FY25 to Rs 30.71 crore in H2FY26. However, net profit surged 171% to Rs 2.39 crore, reflecting stronger margins and improved efficiency, highlighting a positive shift toward profitability despite lower topline growth.
