Synopsis:

A small-cap defence stock was in focus after reporting fresh international order wins across cable, wire harness and PCB assembly requirements, drawing market interest due to improving business visibility. 

DCX Systems Ltd, with a market capitalisation of Rs. 2,283.42 crore, opened at Rs. 205.80 compared to its previous close of Rs. 203.70 and recorded an intraday high of Rs. 212, marking an increase of about 4.08 percent from the previous close.

What’s The News?

The company reported that it has secured purchase orders worth approximately Rs. 16.45 crore in the normal course of business from international clients for manufacturing and supplying cable and wire harness assemblies. Additionally, its wholly owned subsidiary, Raneal Advanced Systems Pvt. Ltd., has secured orders valued at about Rs. 6.44 crore from international customers related to PCB assembly requirements. The consolidated order book stood at approximately Rs. 2,600 crore as on September 30, 2025, indicating strong long-term revenue visibility.

Financial Snapshot – Q2FY26

On a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue declined from Rs. 222.16 crore to Rs. 192.85 crore, a decrease of about 13.19 percent. Operating profit moved from Rs. 1.12 crore to a loss of Rs. 12.81 crore. Profit before tax fell from Rs. 10.63 crore to a loss of Rs. 5.31 crore, while net profit moved from Rs. 4.06 crore to a loss of Rs. 9.04 crore.

On a year-on-year basis, revenue declined from Rs. 195.62 crore to Rs. 192.85 crore, a decrease of about 1.42 percent. Operating loss widened from Rs. 3.80 crore to Rs. 12.81 crore. Profit before tax fell from Rs. 10.65 crore to a loss of Rs. 5.31 crore, while net profit moved from Rs. 5.22 crore to a loss of Rs. 9.04 crore.
