The shares of the prominent solar solution provider gained up to 6 percent in today’s trading session after the company bagged a prestigious work order from a leading Private IPP worth Rs 415 crore.
With a market capitalization of Rs 6,340.54 crore, the shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd were trading at Rs 271.55 per share, increasing around 2 percent as compared to the previous closing price of Rs 266.45 apiece.
Significant Order
The shares of Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Ltd have seen positive momentum after receiving a LOI from a prominent Private IPP for a BOS EPC package for the development of a 300 MW AC / 420 MWp DC Solar PV Project along with a 220/33 kV Pooling Substation in Rajasthan, India. The contract value is approximately Rs 415 crore, including O&M and taxes.

Revenue surged 93% to Rs 1,762 crore, signaling robust demand and probable market-share gains. Net profit jumped 680% to Rs 39 crore, lifting net margin from 0.5% to 2.2%, underscoring operating leverage, richer mix, and cost control.
