Operational Highlights

MCEL has successfully conducted events in over 25 countries, completing more than 370 events in the last three years. The number of events rose from 90 in FY24 to 156 in FY25, though the average revenue per event decreased to Rs. 151.12 Lakhs from Rs. 263.62 Lakhs. 

The company became a key distributor for Cordelia Cruises, supporting both B2B corporate events and upcoming B2C premium cruise offerings under the Cruise Bharat Mission. Additionally, over 36,500 people participated in its travel programs in FY25, while 21 new corporate clients were onboarded and a B2C travel portal is slated for launch in FY26. Religious tour offerings, including Mahakumbh trips, were also initiated.

Financial Snapshot

Comparing FY24 to FY25, MCEL’s sales marginally decreased from Rs. 237 Crores to Rs. 236 Crores, a decline of 0.42 percent. Operating profit fell sharply from Rs. 35 Crores to Rs. 19 Crores, down 45.71 percent, while PBT decreased from Rs. 35 Crores to Rs. 20 Crores, a decline of 42.86 percent. Net profit declined from Rs. 26 Crores to Rs. 14 Crores, down 46.15 percent. 

On the balance sheet, borrowings reduced from Rs. 12 Crores to Rs. 7 Crores, and reserves increased substantially from Rs. 31 Crores to Rs. 88 Crores. Net cashflow fell from Rs. 18 Crores to Rs. 5 Crores, indicating a tighter liquidity position.
