Crisil Ratings has upgraded Atlanta Electricals Ltd’s (ATLANTAELE) long-term rating to ‘Crisil A/Stable’ and its short-term rating to ‘Crisil A1’, citing the company’s strong promoter experience, robust client relationships, and improved financial profile.

Strong Financial Performance

The upgrade follows a 43 percent YoY revenue growth to Rs. 1,244 crore in FY25 from Rs. 868 crore in FY24, supported by strong demand and a healthy order book of Rs. 1,943 crore as of September 2025, providing clear visibility for future revenues.

The company’s net worth increased to ~Rs. 750 crore from Rs. 350 crore, aided by a Rs. 400 crore IPO. Proceeds were used to prepay debt, improving leverage, with the TOL/TNW ratio falling below 0.7x (from 1.47x in FY25). Adequate liquidity is available to meet higher working capital needs post-expansion.

 Expansion and Operational Readiness

Atlanta Electricals has completed its capacity expansion at the Vadod plant and the acquisition of BTW-Atlanta Transformers India Pvt Ltd, both fully operational, expected to drive medium-term growth.
