At 03:15 p.m., shares of Teesta Agro Industries Limited were trading in green at Rs. 126.65 on BSE, up by around 7 percent, compared to its previous closing price of Rs. 118.55, with a market cap of Rs. 71 crores.

The stock has delivered positive returns of around 27 percent in one year, and has gained by over 8 percent in the last one month.

Teesta Agro Industries Limited announced the financial results for the second quarter of FY26 on Friday during market hours, as per the latest regulatory filings with the BSE.

For Q2 FY26, the company reported a revenue from operations of Rs. 66.6 crores, reflecting a significant rise of nearly 80 percent QoQ compared to Rs. 37 crores in Q1 FY26, as well as a year-on-year increase of around 25 percent from Rs. 53.3 crores recorded in Q2 FY25.

During the same period, net profit stood at Rs. 1.2 crores, indicating a growth of around 29 percent QoQ from Rs. 0.93 crores in Q1 FY26, and an increase on a year-on-year basis by more than 71 percent from Rs. 0.7 crores reported in Q2 FY25.

Teesta Agro Industries Limited is engaged in the business of manufacturing and selling fertilisers and sulphuric acid in India. Its products include NPK fertilisers, single super phosphate (SSP) fertilisers, granulated single super phosphate fertilisers, mixture fertilisers, and micronutrients. The company also exports its products primarily to Bangladesh, Nepal, and Bhutan.

Presently, the company’s production capacities stand at 1.65 lakh MT of single super phosphate (initial capacity 66,000 MT), 66,000 MT of sulphuric acid (initial capacity 33,000 MT), 66,000 MT of Granular Single Super phosphate, 33,000 MT of NPK fertiliser, and 1,200 MT of micro nutrients.
