Synopsis:
Bharti Airtel Limited announced its Q2FY26 results, reporting net profit growth of 108.30 percent year-on-year.
The shares of a leading global telecommunication company engaged in providing a comprehensive range of telecom solutions, along with long-distance connectivity services both within the country and internationally, came into focus following the release of its Q2FY26 results and updates.
With a market capitalization of Rs.12,04,797.83 crores, the shares of Bharti Airtel Limited closed at Rs.2,112.90, up by 1.89 percent from its previous day closing price of Rs.2,073.75.
Q2FY26 Results
Bharti Airtel Limited earned Rs.52,145 crore in revenue in Q2FY26, up by 25.73 percent from Rs.41,473 crore in Q2FY25 and 5.43 percent higher than Rs.49,463 crore in Q1FY26.
EBITDA rose to Rs.29,561 crores in Q2FY26, up by 35.31 percent from Rs.21,846 crores in Q2FY25, up by 6.18 percent compared to Rs.27,839 crores in Q1FY26. Profit before tax stood at Rs.12,322 crores in Q2FY26, up by 108.95 percent from Rs.5,897 crores in Q2FY25, up by 17.30 percent compared to Rs.10,504 crores in Q1FY26.
The company recorded a net profit of Rs.8,651 crore in Q2FY26, an increase of 108.30 percent from Rs.4,153 crore in Q2FY25 and 16.55 percent higher than Rs.7,422 crore in Q1FY26.
Jefferies has maintained a very positive outlook on Airtel, keeping its ‘Buy’ rating and setting a target price of Rs.2,635, implying an upside potential of 24.71 percent from the closing price of Rs.2,112.90. This optimism is driven by the company’s strong overall growth, improved profit margins, and healthy free cash flow. The Indian mobile business, in particular, continues to perform exceptionally well, showing steady expansion and robust margins. Jefferies also expects Airtel’s strong free cash flow generation to enable higher shareholder distributions in the future.
