With a market capitalization of Rs. 20.96 crores, the shares of Tuni Textile Mills Limited hit a 20 percent upper circuit of Rs. 1.62 per share on Wednesday, up from its previous closing price of Rs. 1.35 per share. Since then, the stock has retreated and is currently trading at Rs. 1.58 per equity share. 

Q2 FY26 Result Walkthrough

Coming into the quarterly results of Tuni Textile Mills Limited, the company’s consolidated revenue from operations increased by 81.24 percent YOY, from Rs. 16.47 crore in Q2 FY25 to Rs. 29.85 crore in Q2 FY26, and grew by 31.09 percent QoQ from Rs. 22.77 crore in Q1 FY26.

In Q2 FY26, Tuni Textile Mills Limited’s consolidated net profit increased by 280 percent YOY, reaching Rs. 0.57 crore compared to Rs. 0.15 crore during the same period last year. As compared to Q1 FY26, the net profit has increased by 185 percent, from Rs. 0.20 crore.

The basic earnings per share increased by 300 percent and stood at Rs. 0.04 as against Rs. 0.01 recorded in the same quarter in the previous year, FY2025. Tuni Textile Mills Limited’s revenue and net profit have grown at a CAGR of 31.81 percent and 50.88 percent, respectively, over the last four years.

In terms of return ratios, the company’s ROCE and ROE stand at 9.02 percent and 4.17 percent, respectively. Tuni Textile Mills Limited has an earnings per share (EPS) of Rs. 0.08, and its debt-to-equity ratio is 1.84x.

Tuni Textile Mills Limited was established in 1987 and is based in Mumbai. The company is engaged in the manufacture and sale of high-quality synthetic and blended fabrics. The company specializes primarily in producing premium shirting fabrics, including polyester, polyester-cotton, polyester-viscose, cotton-linen, and other blended varieties. 

Additionally, the company manufactures grey fabrics like cotton and cotton mixture fabrics, along with trading in readymade garments and yarns. The company has a manufacturing capacity of about 7.2 million meters of fabric per annum, using advanced European rapier looms to ensure superior quality and innovative fabric designs.

Tuni Textile Mills Limited products cater mainly to the apparel industry, including uniform fabrics, shirting fabrics, suiting, and trouser fabrics. The company supplies to well-known Indian brands such as Siyaram’s, Mafatlal, and Donear, serving wholesalers, exporters, uniform fabric makers, and multinational corporations.
