About the contract

AION-Tech’s subsidiary ROQIT has taken a major step forward by securing a contract from Indian Railways to build an AI-powered parcel logistics platform, marking a big shift toward smarter and greener delivery systems in the country. The pilot project will begin with South Central Railway in early 2026, setting the foundation for a nationwide rollout of a fully digital and sustainable parcel network.

With AION-Tech also advancing sustainable multimodal transport solutions through ETO Motors, this partnership signals a strong push toward modernising India’s parcel movement, making it faster, cleaner, and more customer-focused.

The company is building a fully digital, sustainable logistics ecosystem by combining cloud-based technology, AI, and EV-led mobility. Its platform replaces manual processes with real-time tracking, digital payments, predictive scheduling, and complete door-to-door parcel connectivity.

By putting EV fleet operators at the centre, it promotes a greener supply chain while offering customers flexibility through an open marketplace where they can choose logistics partners based on cost and sustainability. Overall, the company is reshaping lightweight to mid-weight parcel delivery with smarter, cleaner, and more transparent logistics solutions.

Pavan Chavali, CEO, ROQIT, said, “Our collaboration with Indian Railways marks a transformative milestone in building India’s next-generation, end-to-end logistics ecosystem – one that combines the scale and sustainability of rail with intelligent first- and last-mile mobility solutions. In the pilot phase, we are leveraging ETO Motors, our electric fleet subsidiary, to power seamless parcel pick-up and delivery, ensuring a truly integrated, zero-emission movement of goods. Through ROQIT, we are bringing real-time transparency, AI-driven intelligence, and green mobility together to create a future-ready, point-to-point parcel transportation network aligned with India’s Net-Zero vision.”
