Synopsis: A Mumbai-based technology distribution and brand company has secured an Advance Work Order from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) on behalf of Digital Bharat Nidhi for the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the BharatNet Middle Mile Network in the Odisha Telecom Circle, with a total consortium project value of approximately Rs.3,194.83 crore.

With a market capitalization of Rs.1,149 crore, the shares of Creative Newtech Limited were trading at Rs.759 per share, with the stock hitting the upper circuit of 20 percent from the previous day’s closing of Rs.630.50. It is trading at a P/E of approximately 16x.

Creative Newtech Limited, along with its consortium partner, has received an Advance Work Order (AWO) from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), acting on behalf of Digital Bharat Nidhi, Department of Telecommunications, Government of India. The total consortium project value stands at approximately Rs.3,194.83 crore, covering the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the BharatNet Middle Mile Network in the Odisha Telecom Circle.
The contract is expected to be completed within approximately three years, subject to submission of unconditional acceptance, requisite performance security, execution of a definitive agreement, and issuance of route-wise work orders by BSNL. The order is domestic in nature, with no promoter interest in BSNL and no related-party involvement in the transaction.
The scope of work is comprehensive; the consortium will build new network infrastructure, upgrade existing networks to ring topology, establish a State Network Operations Centre, and deploy advanced networking, fiber monitoring, and network management systems across thousands of locations in Odisha.
The project is also expected to generate potential recurring revenue through long-term operations and maintenance obligations that extend beyond the initial deployment phase, giving Creative Newtech visibility across both the build and service legs of the contract.

The Market Entry Specialist segment continues to dominate revenue, contributing approximately 85.89% of consolidated FY26 revenues at Rs.2,318.92 crore.
