Synopsis: Vertex Group has announced its entry into the co-working segment through its new platform, DK Vertex. The company plans to invest Rs. 300 crore over the next three years to develop 30-35 smart co-working centres across 10 cities, targeting the growing demand for flexible workspaces and integrated business solutions.
Vertex Group is set to expand beyond its core information technology services business after announcing plans to enter the rapidly growing co-working and managed workspace market through the launch of its new platform, DK Vertex.
According to the company, it plans to invest approximately Rs. 300 crore over the next three years to establish 30-35 smart co-working centres across 10 cities in India. The expansion marks a strategic diversification aimed at capitalizing on the increasing adoption of flexible office spaces by startups, SMEs, multinational corporations and hybrid workforces. As part of the first phase of the rollout, DK Vertex plans to launch seven facilities across Delhi-NCR, Mumbai and Bengaluru, spanning nearly 1 million square feet. The first centre has already been launched in Gurugram with a capacity of 700 seats.
The initial seven centres are being developed with an investment of around Rs. 70 crore and are expected to offer approximately 10,000 seats. According to the company, around 6,000 seats are already operational with occupancy levels reaching nearly 75 percent, while another 4,000 built-to-suit seats are expected to become operational over the next two months.
Management stated that the platform has already attracted a mix of high-growth startups, MSMEs and large enterprises. The company claims to have more than 15 Fortune 500 companies among its clientele, with approximately 70 percent of occupants comprising international brands.
Unlike traditional co-working operators, DK Vertex aims to position itself as a comprehensive workspace and business growth platform. The company plans to provide a range of integrated value-added services through a single digital ecosystem. These services will include information security solutions, payroll management, hiring and talent acquisition support, business analytics, account management services, concierge support and a business networking marketplace designed to facilitate collaboration among tenants.
The move comes amid continued growth in India’s flexible workspace market, which has witnessed strong demand from technology companies, global capability centres, startups and enterprises seeking asset-light office expansion strategies. Industry experts expect the sector to benefit from evolving workplace preferences, increasing hybrid work adoption and demand for managed office solutions.
By integrating workspace infrastructure with technology-enabled business services, Vertex Group aims to differentiate itself in a highly competitive market and create recurring revenue opportunities beyond conventional seat rentals.
Founded as an information technology company, Vertex Group provides technology and digital transformation solutions across multiple sectors. The launch of DK Vertex represents a strategic expansion into the broader business infrastructure ecosystem while leveraging the company’s expertise in technology and enterprise services.
The planned Rs. 300 crore investment reflects Vertex Group’s long-term confidence in India’s flexible workspace industry, which continues to attract strong demand from both domestic and international businesses seeking scalable and technology-enabled office solutions.
