Adani Green Energy Limited has a total market capitalization of approximately Rs. 2,56,152.36 crore. The company’s shares were trading at Rs. 1557.50 apiece on the stock exchange, up by 1.33 percent. The stock has gained 0.66 percent over the last five trading sessions, while it has gained 4.66 percent over the last month. The stock touched a 52-week high of Rs. 1589 and a 52-week low of Rs. 765.

According to the company’s provisional operational update, Adani Green Energy’s operational capacity increased by 27 percent YoY to 20,142 MW as of June 30, 2026, compared with 15,816 MW in the corresponding period. The company added 4,326 MW of greenfield capacity on a YoY basis, while 848 MW of capacity was added during Q1 FY27.

The capacity additions comprised 3,051 MW of solar power projects, including 2,662 MW at Khavda in Gujarat and 389 MW in Rajasthan. The company also operationalised 684 MW of wind capacity and 592 MW of hybrid capacity at Khavda, further expanding its diversified renewable energy portfolio.

Adani Green Energy’s sale of energy increased by 30 percent YoY to 13,657 million units in Q1 FY27, compared with 10,479 million units in Q1 FY26, primarily driven by the expansion in operational capacity. Solar energy sales increased from 6,372 million units to 7,653 million units, wind sales rose from 1,805 million units to 2,516 million units and hybrid energy sales increased from 2,302 million units to 3,488 million units.

The company also operationalised 1,972 MWh of Battery Energy Storage System capacity at Khavda during Q1 FY27, taking its total installed BESS capacity to 3,551 MWh as of June 30, 2026. The deployment strengthens the company’s presence beyond renewable power generation and into energy storage, which is becoming increasingly important for managing the intermittent nature of solar and wind power.

Operationally, the solar portfolio reported a capacity utilisation factor of 25.3 percent with plant availability of 99.5 percent. The wind portfolio recorded a CUF of 44.4 percent with 95.3 percent plant availability, while the hybrid portfolio achieved a CUF of 49 percent and plant availability of 98.8 percent.

The capacity expansion strengthens Adani Green Energy’s ability to generate and sell higher volumes of renewable electricity. With operational capacity reaching 20.1 GW, the company has moved further towards its target of achieving 50 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. Its portfolio is spread across 12 resource-rich states, with additional solar and wind sites identified in Khavda and Rajasthan.
