With a market capitalisation of Rs. 5,657 cr, the shares of Canara Robeco Asset Management Company Ltd were trading at Rs. 283.50 per share, jumping 14% in today’s market session, making a high of Rs. 287.60, up from its previous close of Rs. 253.30 per share. 

Q1FY27 Performance 

On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, the company reported revenue from operations of Rs. 116.2 crore in Q1 FY27, up 2 percent from Rs. 114.2 crore in Q4 FY26. Profit before tax (PBT) surged 71 percent to Rs. 99.4 crore from Rs. 58.2 crore, while profit after tax (PAT) jumped 83 percent to Rs. 75.6 crore from Rs. 41.4 crore. Total expenses increased marginally by 2 percent to Rs. 46.4 crore.

On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, revenue from operations rose 20 percent from Rs. 97.1 crore in Q1 FY26 to Rs. 116.2 crore in Q1 FY27. PBT increased 24 percent from Rs. 79.9 crore to Rs. 99.4 crore, while PAT grew 24 percent from Rs. 61 crore to Rs. 75.6 crore. Meanwhile, total expenses increased 12 percent from Rs. 41.5 crore to Rs. 46.4 crore.

Business Highlights 

As of June 30, 2026, the company managed assets under management (AUM) of Rs. 1.195 lakh crore, while its quarterly average assets under management (QAAUM) stood at Rs. 1.187 lakh crore. The equity-oriented QAAUM was Rs. 1.081 lakh crore, reflecting the company’s strong presence in equity mutual funds. 

The company also reported Rs. 41,500 crore in SIP month-end AUM, supported by 2 million outstanding SIP accounts and a monthly SIP contribution of Rs. 690 crore (including STP transactions).

The company continued to strengthen its distribution network with 56,819 systematic investment distributors and 29 branches across India. Its AUM mix comprised 28 percent through direct plans and 72 percent through regular plans.

The company continued to strengthen its digital ecosystem during the quarter, with the website user engagement rate increasing 67.91 percent from 44.84 percent in Q1 FY26 to 75.29 percent in Q1 FY27. Additionally, the average engagement time on its digital platforms improved 44.43 percent, rising from 51 seconds to 1 minute and 14 seconds, reflecting higher user interaction.

To enhance customer experience, the company launched two new digital features during the quarter. The CRAMC Investor Portal now supports NRI re-KYC and fresh investments for minors, while its WhatsApp Chatbot has been upgraded with a facility for individual mutual fund distributor (MFD) empanelment, further improving accessibility and onboarding capabilities.
