Sagility Acquires CareSeed to Elevate Healthcare Quality Analytics

Sagility has acquired Kansas City-based healthcare analytics provider CareSeed to establish a unified, tech-led quality operations continuum. CareSeed brings proprietary, NCQA-certified platforms. Forecast for HEDIS reporting and Harvest for medical record review generating ~$5.1M in CY25 revenue with a 31.4 percent  EBITDA margin and ~95 percent  recurring revenue.

By pairing CareSeed’s analytics and specialized team with Sagility’s clinical scale, the integration enhances Medicare Advantage capabilities across HEDIS and CMS Stars, while immediately opening cross-sell opportunities across 30 small-to-mid payer clients.

Building a Seamless End-to-End Quality Operations Continuum

By bringing together CareSeed’s core technology and Sagility’s operational scale, the partnership establishes a complete 360 quality-of-care ecosystem. CareSeed powers the initial heavy lifting—pinpointing care gaps, handling abstraction management, and validating HEDIS encounters through platforms like Forecast and Harvest.

Sagility then seamlessly picks up the torch to drive actual care gap closure, analyze quality-of-care impacts, manage population health, and empower providers. Anchored by AI-enabled workflows, hands-on clinical services, and robust compliance tools, this joint solution allows health plans to move beyond routine HEDIS reporting toward proactive, member-level orchestration that directly drives Star Rating improvements and revenue growth.

Additionally, Industry research highlights a widening gap in healthcare AI adoption. While 70 percent  of players have deployed AI tools, 84 percent  report limited value, and only 10 percent  have achieved measurable improvements, as success depends on redesigning workflows rather than simply implementing technology. As a result, 70 percent  of payer leaders now prioritize domain-led intelligent operations, while 94 percent  expect AI to complement human oversight, reinforcing demand for partners like Sagility that combine healthcare expertise with AI-driven operational execution.

Sagility is strengthening its position in the healthcare technology space by combining AI-driven analytics with deep domain expertise and clinical operations. The CareSeed acquisition expands its capabilities in Medicare Advantage, enhances cross-selling opportunities, and broadens its client base with recurring revenue. As healthcare payers increasingly seek partners that can deliver measurable operational outcomes rather than standalone AI tools, Sagility appears well placed to benefit from this shift while building a more scalable and differentiated long-term growth platform.
